Review – Holiday Inn Express

One of the first sights I always notice when I drive into Utah from the North is this.

I don’t know why, but I just love this. It always catches my eye. It reminds me of home in Portland. :]

The drive was beautiful. Long. But beautiful. So when I finally got to my hotel, the Holiday Inn Express – Ogden, it felt great knowing I could just park and relax…at least for a few minutes.

After checking in, getting my key, internet code, and immediately asking where the gym was, I went straight to my room, which was nicer than I expected.

Right when I walked in I saw this…

The Bathroom (to the right after walking in)

The bed (this was a king)

The T.V. (which was directly across from the bed)

The desk and chair both by the window

I didn’t have much time to do much since the reception started at six. I changed into my gym clothes and made my way down to the fitness center so I could try and get a run in before I had to get ready.

The fitness center was small and didn’t have much to it, but it got the job done.

There were just two treadmills, a bike, a weight “station” and some free weights.

I ran a quick mile and did a few free weights then headed back to get ready for the reception.

Everything was amazing during my stay. The only problem I had was that the internet was a little bit sketchy. It would connect then disconnect every now and again, but that is to be expected at times so no big problems.

Note: I was not comped or given a free stay at this hotel for my review or opinions.
